So, I made this for my friend for Xmas and she loved it! Thought I'd share. I made the apron from an old belt, a strawberry print bandanna, some charms, a string of pearl-like beads a crochet tie, and glue. Lots of glue. Grin

Hubby, posing for the action shot  Kiss

The print and the beads along the bottom

And the different charms along the top, you can see the buckle better here, too

Thanks for lookin'!

hehe, your hubby sure can pull of that apron. i like i idea of having the belt at the top, i always find when i have to tie mine, the bow comes undone or loosens too much so i keep fiddling with it.

You can't see it in the pics, but the belt only goes about 1/2 way around. There's a long tie that goes all the way around on the inside, that's why the stitching thru the belt where I ended up putting the charms.

That is a cool idea - after seeing a second apron I made my bf said hed like one (he's the main cook in our house) but I'm never sure if he's kidding or not lol. However I like your idea - I'm concerned if i do make him an apron he'll think it's too girly!

If you say 'plz' because it's shorter than 'please',I'll say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
