OMG!! your husband is in my sunday newspaper!!!!!!!!

Its a UK newspaper and they describe it as a nerdy tank top (that is what we call sweater vests in this part of the world) But your husbands photo is in a british newspaper dressed in your fabulous knitting...well done!

they are actually linking to here http://www.wonderlandblog.com/wonderland/2010/01/super-mario-tank-top.html

the short piece is here, this is what is in the actual paper (minus the photo) http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2010/jan/23/internet-reviews-the-guide

I have the paper, so pm me asap if you want me to send it to you..

Your husband is a star!!! As is your work!

BTW This is a quality newspaper in the UK and it is sold in Ireland too, I get it every week and was so excited when I saw your pic

personal swaps...yes please

SUPER Mario!  My son would think this was the greatest sweater ever.  Awesome!

all calls will be answered in the order in which they are received
I live a knitting life, everything else is secondary. "Want to go out for a drink?" "Nope, sorry, I have a project at home that I'm close to finishing."

That is absolutely amazing! I love mario and love that people on craftster always seem to make the most stunning stuff with Nintendo and mario.

The detail is spot on! It must have taken forever!

I love how you put the lives remaining and the score on the shoulders... that's such a nice touch! I'll bet he loves it.

Don't you hate it when people fill up their signature with random junk you could care less about reading but when you see how long it is you figure it has to be important so you keep reading but it's not worth your time and you just wasted a whole minute reading absolutely nothing at all? I do.

My 11 year old nephew saw this and has begged me to make it.  I found your pattern at www.happyseamstress.com

I'm not the best knitter and have never tried colorwork other than stripes or squares, and slip-stitch.  I'm looking forward to this being a learning experience.  My biggest problem will be adapting it to his size.  He has a bit of ADD and making him stand still for the measuring was surprisingly easy.  I think he is just pumped over it.  He loves Mario and plays the older games on the wii.

Was this really hard to make and did it take you a very long time?  I think your pattern is just awesome.
