I received 2 more lovely bookmarks!

From Rosie1981, a very colorful bookmark with my initial. I'm not sure what technique was used, it looks to be some substance melted in inside!

Front & Back pictures

From 1watermonkey, a patchwork fabric bookmark with some pretty butterfly fabrics!

Front & Back pictures

Thanks ladies!!

Hey Rosie!  I'd also love to know what technique you used - this bookmark is gorgeous!

I saw the new challenge (Craft Challenge #54 - Pencil and Crayon Hoopla) and followed the ideas and this link was listed.

When it says to use the shavings sparingly, use them very sparingly.  I didn't realize how much it melted. Oh and use a few layers of copy paper, it bleads through but it does make pretty paper.  Grin

Wow, I did that as a kid. Waaaay back in the day. Like, early 80's I used to make "kaleidoscope" pictures with my crayon shavings all the time. Neat to see it again.
