-  Someone says "look for the Cascade in the basement" and you go looking for pretty yarn in it.
-  You can't wait for unseasonal winter temperatures to show up, so you can stop dealing with cotton knits
-  You get mad at your spouse/partner for buying knit objects
-  You fondle yarn in public
-  Your reading list reads like the who's who of yarn
-  You have to move your current project to find other things under it
-  You officially hate one stitch (usually the stitch that 1st makes it into your projects)

Discuss.  (Or add more!)

-You own more yarn than your mother.
-You have to stop yourself from fondling handknits worn by strangers. Especially in public.
-You can look at any handknit and have a good idea of how it's made. Also what yarn you would make it in.
-Your handbag has two knitting projects in it. Plus a notebook full of knitting ideas.
-The only reason you passed 1st year university computing was because you related it to knitting.
-You always know where a sewing needle is, plus a pair of scissors and tape-measure.
-You have a scar on your bum from when you sat on a dpn.
-You are famous among your friends for your knitting.

Haha, these are great! More than one of these has applied to me!  I'll have to try and think of one or two to add, keep 'em coming though!

I've noticed myself fondling yarn and random fabrics that look knitted.

You take a knitted sweater you find at a thrift shop unravel it because you liked the yarn.

You take above mentioned knitted sweater and make it into a new improved sweater

You're watching a TV show or movie and all you can thing is 'look at the ribbing on that guy's sweater!'

and you're sad when the scene ends because there's no knitwear to look at in the next scene.

Oh, yea, that is a big one for me! I'm always tugging my hubby's arm saying "Look!! That (insert object here) looks like it is a handknit!!"

Your reaction to fashion magazines is more "I want to make that!" than "I want to buy that!"

-You barely contain your laughs when you're knitting in public and a stranger comes up and asks if you're quilting
-You have yarn that you know will be something special someday, but you don't know what it is yet (and that is why balls of yarn from your overflowing stash rain down on you when you open your closet door)
