I bought some shoes on sale in Tesco (3!) that screamed 'draw on me!'. So I sewed on some pictures of dinosaurs from an old tshirt I've been wanted to do something with. And drew on some footprints.

Any tips to make them even niftier? I didn't want to overdo them but I feel there's something missing. I'm not sure what to do with the laces, the ribbons are OK but could be better!

I think they are perfect just as they are - adding anything else would probably detract from the cuteness.  The ribbon laces are kind of distracting - maybe using just plain laces would be better?

Those are absolutely adorable!! What a creative idea. You hand sewed on the dinosaurs? I feel like that would have been very annyoing. haha I'm not very good friends with patience. But I love the dinosaurs so much, those are the coolest shoes i've ever seen. I may have to try something similar. Oh and they're perfect by the way, I can't imagine adding anything else. I really like the laces the way they are.  Smiley

If you had to add something, I would recommended coloring the plastic edges of the sole on the bottom part of the shoe. Maybe red to match the laces?

thanks guys! I might do the soles, or find some tidier laces... hmmm...
Yeah, they were hand sewn on. Didn't take as long as I'd thought, couple of hours (I'm quite slow), and it was tricky getting to the toe of the shoe. But because they were small it wasn't too frustrating.

I think the ribbons are great - they match the red footprints.
Amazing shoes, well done  Grin
