I just made a new scarf using Patons Twister. I am in love with the yarn. Only complaint is the chenille part of it sometimes feels really scratchy in my left hand, which I use to knit (continental knitter here  Smiley )

Hi, beautiful scarf.  Did you double strand it or not?
Also, what size of needle did you use?

I used size 15 needles, and nope, I didn't double strand it.

I'm not too sure on how it'll work as a hat. It seemed like unless you made it tight, it might not stay on (slippery stuff), but I could be wrong.

I've never used this stuff before, but it makes a very pretty scarf.  Out of curiosity: does it feel scratchy on your neck, or just as you  were knitting it?

It's pretty strange- chenille is usually *so* soft.

Nope, it felt soft on my neck. Just when it's going through your fingers in the work up. I fi nd that with a lot of yarns, they feel scratchy to my fingers, but not when I wear it.
