I have little cousins that would love these. I must make some for them to play with. Then maybe they won't try to play with the real stuff.

Your rubbing alcohol idea makes me think of a fake first aid kit with instructions. They could practice and learn first aid procedures.

My grandmother had something similar as a child, sounds like a good Girl Scout project. I appreciate everyones concern, when I gave it to DD she immediately informed me of the friends who would not be playing with it "they don't respect medicine mom".
I definitely would never allow a toddler to play with it.

Neat idea! But keep an eye on the bottle in case the acetone in the nail polish breaks the bottle down. The bottle might become warped and pliable in some places. (just a warning)

You could do this with paint too! Smiley

when i was younger we did not have a lot of money. we had a few dolls and basically handmade everything for them with whatever we had, this reminds me of that! great idea Smiley
