I haven't seen any discussions about it yet but I sure want to do it again this year!

Here is the swap thread from last year: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=319693.0

Looks like there was 2 1/2 months crafting time before the first send out and sign ups ended on 9/6.

I don't want to step on toes, but I should be done with all my swaps other than the 13 days of Halloween swap by that time and I could step up to organize if there is not already plans to do so.  I would really appreciate a co-org to volunteer right away though.

Any thoughts?

Eee! Looks really fun! If I'm not too busy, I'll definitely do it! Grin

MommytheMaid - I don't think there's any problem if you'd like to organise it this year, just make sure you get at least one great co-organiser, if not a couple!  This one is a lot of work!  Holler if you need any help. Smiley

I'm definitely up for this again!  I can definitely help organize too!!

Is the idea this year to find your own partner like last year?

I was also wondering about this.  Last years round was so much fun!   Grin I totally want to do this again.  But i didnt pick my partner, kish was the organizer and she picked for me.  So, if we had to pick our partners I dont know who I'd ask.  Maybe I need to look at the list of last years participants and then ask one of them.

MommytheMaid may want to figure out exactly how she'd like to run it, everyone likes to do it differently. Smiley  I always enjoy when I get a partner I didn't expect! Smiley

How does this differ from the Advent Calendar swap (besides the number of days)?

MisingWillow - it differs slightly in that the Advent Calendar Swap requires one gift per day for days 1-24 and the 12 Days of Christmas requires 12 gifts on day 12, 11 gifts on day 11 and so on down to the big gift on day 1!  I'm sure you can see where it could end up being a much bigger and more time consuming swap! I really want to do this one, but I am due with baby #2 in mid October and I am pretty sure it would be a bad idea to sign on for this swap, no matter how much I want to do it.  However, wasn't there a mini 12 days swap last year as well?  Any word on the street about that?  By the way sarahj2001 is a great partner if anyone was curious!

I might be interested in this.  Last year I really wanted to but backed out at the last minute.  It seemed so overwhelming at the time.  Or maybe the mini would be better if someone was to do that one again.  I love the idea of this swap but am not too sure if I could pull it off...

Hm, I may give this one a try again. I did it one year. It's a lot of work, but also really fun.

(Then again, I could also see myself going in a Mini instead. . . . hm. I'll have to think about it all!).

Okay, the interest is there!

I will contact the two who offered to co-org.  I think I will assign partners unless there are people who want to be paired and ask to be paired.  I believe that is how kish did it last year.   I need to get sign ps going soon huh?  Eek!  Excitement.

Okay, I will work on this tonight and try to post it in the next few days.  Are we excited?
