Wow, thank you! I can't wait to see all of your creations, I hope some of you are still planning to give it a go... I have been a bit swamped with other work lately but I have some ideas for xmas gifts. Anything I can make in an afternoon that looks that nifty is great by me!

This is absolutely amazing.  I'm just a newbie crafter with very few scraps and doodads, but this makes me want MORE!  It also makes me want a sewing machine, but I'm wondering if I could cut even MORE corners and just fabric glue it all!  :-D

You sure could do it all by hand, it wouldn't be hard at all. I used a little glue stick in the corners to possition the scraps but I don't know it you'd want to use too much glue. Stitching things down will ensure that they hold up to use if you're making something that you'll wear around or toss into a purse or bag. You can add as much or as little stitching and embellishment as you like so it doesn't have to take a whole lot longer if you're hand sewing it all. Give it a go!
