I made this quilt for edenkitty in the FOC Wist Swap. She likes lots of nature and cute stuff, so I thought the cutesy mushroom fabric plus the birdie backing was perfect for her! For the 9-patch squares I pulled some fun fabrics out of my stash and picked some of the same colors as in the mushroom fabric. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and my partner loved it!

The colors here (the finished top before quilting) are a little more true.

WOW! Where ever did you get that Mushroom fabric? My best friend collects fairy stuff and has tons of mushroom stuff in the house because of it! I would love to make some stuff out of that fabric!

It is a beautiful quilt! You did a fantastic job on it! So sweet. Smiley

OH! Awesome! Thanks so much!!!
I just love it! It is kind of retro and super sweet!
I think it would be great for some throw pillows and maybe a mini throw quilt!

Yeah I think I bought 4 yards or something when I found it, no project in mind, just because I knew I would want a lot of it! Smiley It's more olive than in the pics, it came out kind of yellow-ish.

Adorable! The 9 patch squares are perfect with that amazing mushroom fabric! I love the sketch style backing too.

I love it! The color is perfect because of all the other colors in the print! Smiley It will match the decor beautifully! Their living room and bedrooms are all taupe/tan brown with so many different color accents.

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley
