Yesterday was the hottest day of the year here in NC and maybe one of the hottest on record so of course I neeeeeeded to make a scarf and hats for my baby-darlin' and she neeeeeeded to model them for me!  They are very simple beanie hats but I am pretty proud having never made a hat before...I guess the heat was inspiring Cheesy
~First up, a pink set, hat and baby eternity scarf with a pink and green pompom:

~Good models get graham crackers Wink

~And then a plain blue beanie, I love the hat although I feel like it needs a little pizaz, any suggestions?

Thanks for looking, and comments are welcome!

These are beautiful hats! Great job, especially for your first hats! They're not as scary as they seemed, right? Your daughter is adorable!

Your daughter is adorable, so are your other creations!  What that last hat needs is a crocheted flower, IMHO.

I agree with you Miss B, a crochet flower would be great...I've never made one of those before either...do you know of any handy tutorials available?  Thank you both for the kind comments, I'm proud of all my creations Cheesy

Of course right when I go to find you on here I see a familiar baby face in the newest projects section!

She is precious and the hats and scarf are cute!!! You need to teach me how to crochet. Smiley

Adorable Smiley My little man won't wear hats intended for him but he steals everything I make for myself!
