For the Amigurumi Poppet swap, my partner requested a Hobbes in exchange for one of her infamous poppets. I googled to find this:

I was inspired to make this little guy.  I altered the pattern the previous poster supplied quite a bit.  It was great for a guide, but didn't quite give the outcome I was looking for.

Olivia posing with Hobbes to show his size (don't mind her unbrushed hair)

Hobbes watching the Disney Channel

If anyone is interested in the changed I made, I'd be glad to help you out.   Grin  I didn't write the pattern out, but I can tell you what I did to modify him.

Great work on all the strip details especially on his face.

Aw, he looks just like the toy version of Hobbes (how everyone but Calvin saw him)!  I'm feeling so nostalgic now... he's wonderful.

What RavingRosemary said---just looking at him makes me want to dig up my Calvin & Hobbes books and curl up for a while.  He's amazing, and I love how poseable he is, too.
