So I'm going to take a second to gush. My best friend/high school teacher/mentor just had her first child. She's a beautiful girl named Laurel, after me. I go to school in LA at Loyola Marymount U. and I decided that baby Laurel needed some lion pride! So I whipped this up:

Onesie: .50 cents at Goodwill
Iron-on letters, red felt, red ribbon, and white ruffle were all in my craft box.

It's modeled by my good old teddy bear (interestingly named Laurel Bear).

I had to hand stitch everything because my sewing machine is in storage in California and I am not. The ruffle on the butt is crooked, so I'm probably going to have to rip it off, borrow my friend's sewing machine, and re-do. Also, I'll add an extra ruffle layer. I just couldn't wait to post it because I think it's too cute. I'm also thinking of putting a little lion patch on it if I can find one.

Be careful with glitter. It never goes away. Glitter is the herpes of craft supplies.
