lovingly made by lil_starry1 in Round 3 (fall/winter)

It's almost that time again -- Fall/Winter Baby Onesie Swap!!

This swap is for babies/toddlers sized newborn to 4T.  We'll be making 5 or 10 onesies / tees again.  Extras are discouraged, but my sweet swappers keep wanting to spoil their partners' babies!   Grin

The shirts can be store-bought or handmade.  Each shirt will be embellished in some way: applique, stencil, dyeing, embroidery, iron-ons, etc.

I'm thinking sign-ups mid-August (2 or 3 weeks for sign-ups,) with 5 weeks for crafting.  This would put send-outs around the beginning of October.  We want this swap to be as stress-free as possible!

Previous swap galleries:

Round 2
Round 3
Round 4

**How does this timeline sound?  Will this interfere with summer holidays, back-to-school, etc?  I don't want to wait too long, or we'll get into Halloween, but if we start too early, we won't be able to find long sleeved shirts/onesies.  ??
**Any volunteers for co-organizer?
**Open to all swappers (international)??
**Do we want a theme, or just craft from partners' wishes, or. . . ?
**Also, please share links to tee blanks, patterns, appliques, inspiration!  Cheesy

Invite your Craftster friends, and let's make this an awesomely cute swap!

I could be up for another round. I know I sent late for the last one, but to be fair it was because I had a baby. lol. My little guy loved his onesies. Oh and I've learned how to aplique since the last round! Woo! I'll keep my eye out for this one.

LOL -- I think you're excused!  Wink  I do hope you'll join us.

I love all the onesies and shirts we've received so far.  My Nolan (pictured in the first post) is almost too big for this swap (4T) so this will be his last round.  Sad  But I do have one more Monkey after him, so I plan to do this swap for at least a few more years!

I have an Aurianna too I just spelled it different...Not very common name when I did it 21 years ago Smiley

I so will be in for this one for Houston...FOOD FOR THOUGHT..If you use craft paint Please use fabric Med. if not they fade so quick they just become sleep shirts Undecided the last round he received 10 and only one held up from the painted ones to the iron on I was sad for them Sad I did my daughters for her she was swamped in school but just know for new swappers that you should really use fabric med if not using fabric paint Smiley  if you do appliques sew around them to hold for the long haul and if Iron on make sure they are solid Smiley just food for thought and a happy swap for all kidos involved Smiley

I'm thinking about "banning" iron-ons, simply because of the problems they've caused in past rounds (peeling, cracking.)  I also usually have over half the swappers request "no iron-ons" on their questionnaires anyway.  I know that would eliminate an entire type of embellishment, but what do you guys think?
