This took 6 skeins of Tahki Yarns' Replay (which is an awesome, recycled cotton).  It's a cropped shrug/bolero with a frilled hem and pleated sleeve caps.  I designed this one myself, I think I'd like to see it in wool (or alpaca), too.  That would be pretty sweet for the fall/winter (our winter's in Savannah are pretty mild).  More pics on the Ravelry page:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/betty-11

That looks great on you! The ruffles also dress it up a bit too!  I also like that you did your photoshoot in your LYS  Wink

I always thought of cotton yarn as bulky and rough, but it looks incredible in your pictures! Very well done! That shade of grey is lovely against your skin tone, too. Cheesy Congratulations!

(And I agree with Striker923, the LYS shots are brilliant!)

Don't you hate it when people fill up their signature with random junk you could care less about reading but when you see how long it is you figure it has to be important so you keep reading but it's not worth your time and you just wasted a whole minute reading absolutely nothing at all? I do.

Thanks!  The yarn shop is owned by my friend, it's Wild Fibre in Savannah, Georgia.  Beautiful store, I kind of took it over for a few minutes for the photos (hehe).

Beautiful design and execution! The ruffles are perfectly frilly and the color is perfectly neutral - you'll be able to wear this bolera with everything!

Love the photos too! Next time I'm in GA I'll be visiting Wild Fibre Smiley.
