I thought I'd share some things I've been dyeing this past week.  Several of these were dyed by my little girl who is almost three.  We had tons of fun and I ended up with several braids for myself because they came out with 2-3 tails hanging off in random places from little hands helping me fish them out of the soaking tub, lol.

These pieces are stunning! You did a beautiful job, and it's so cute that you let your little one help you out!  Cheesy

Thanks so much.  Although it's more like she lets me do it and ALLOWS me to help her, lol.  Bossy, bossy little thing!  I'm hoping that she keeps interest in helping me so I'll have a fiber buddy forever.

Those are beautiful!! I couldn't tell what it was from the thumbnail aside from colorful fibery goodness, so of course I just HAD to click on it.  Wonderful!!!

My son will be 4 in September, and one of his favorite things is to help me dye roving.  It's such a great kiddo activity because nothing about it has to be precise, and the results are always a fun surprise!  I'm glad your daughter is such a good boss, um, I mean helper.   Wink  You guys do great work together and I do hope you'll be fiber buddies forever!

Thanks for all the compliments!  I agree with it being such a kid friendly activity and to be honest her colors come out better than mine half the time anyway, lol.

I don't intend to spin any of these myself.  I didn't photo the ones that I kept.  Wink

Took me about two days to dye what's on the table in the photo.  There's about a pound or two more that I dyed that's not photo'd, so total about eight pounds.  Course it took another day to braid everthing, take individual photo's, package each one, and then organize them, lol.  So about four days when you count a day to dry it all in between dying and packaging.  Now I'm out of undyed and going nuts to dye again.  I've been spinning like crazy to kill time untill I can justify another order of roving.   Cry
