FANTASTIC. They sell Morningstar black bean burgers at Costco and they are delicious, but I wanted to find a way to make them cheaper! Thank you!

That was actually the impetus for making our own bean burgers in the first place. These are super inexpensive to make; we can have a couple months' supply in the freezer for the cost of just a couple packages of the other. Plus we like switching up the spices/seasonings used so we don't get bored.

I'm going to cut this way down, maybe a quarter of what you did, and give it a try! They look yummy, and Morningstar is way too expensive. By the way, the saucy rice you have in your picture next to the burgers looks so good. What is it? Spanish rice, or something else?
