can you show us how did you put it together? i know some choose to use a oasis base to stick the stems into but it seems your method is different than that?

This was the third attempt at this actually. The first time, I thought I could attach the brooches to a round piece of plastic mesh. DISASTER. It wasn't even round! then the girls that get together with me for Crafty Tuesday and I tried to make two hemispheres. Bad idea too because there was a gap between the two halves. Finally, Jess (the most awesome crafty girl ever) thought it would be a good idea to start in the middle and work our way around. That was much more successful! We clumped the brooches together and then attached the clumps to each other along with adding some every once in a while to fill in holes. Every so often, we added strips of duct tape to hold pieces together and then we wrapped it again after they were all attached!

YES, YES, YES!!!!!  This is the most original and resourceful bouquet I've seen yet.  It is beautiful.  I would have a hard time taking my eyes off of it through he whole wedding day!

You can keep it forever and it can be passed on.  Also it could be taken apart and the pieces could be used for other things.

I LOVE this. I actually decided today that this was what I was going to do when I get married someday. Yours is so beautiful! And I think the story of how people sent them from all over is so great and it makes it so much more special. Its very cool.
