They're beautiful and, uh, I think I just got some dust in my eyes.

My cheeks are wet with tears. Thank you for the uplifting comments about your grandma. I think that we all hope that our lives will touch others the way her did yours. The project is a simple classy tribute to her. And you should be proud to be following in her footsteps.

You are a wonderful giver too!
That is such a beautiful way to share and remember your Gram Smiley
Your post is so eloquently written, it had me in tears...The Button Wreath, the poem and the way you preserved your grandmother's spirit are all very beautiful.

just amazing..... love the wreath, and the poem is perfect......but the story that goes behind it all is priceless, and like some of the others, I couldn't help but get a little teary eyed while reading it.......

Be very proud of your project, it obviously means a lot to all of you.....but best of all......I'm sure your grandmother would have LOVED it as well!!

Thanks for all of your kind comments. I didn't mean to cause so many tears. But I'm not so surprised...that poem gets me every time I read it!

These are fantastic.  I have my grandmother's sewing machine, and many of her old notions.  Last night, we almost lost her(I actually just caught up on sleep from the all niter in the ER) And while she did make am amazing, unprecedented turn around, it made me appreciate her and all the things she as done to further my creativity.

Thank you for your beautiful project
