That is a really wonderful, touching way to keep your grandmother's memory alive . . . and share those memories/ momentoes with your family.

So I never got the whole 'button thing' different strokes I guess...

That is such a sweet idea. I have a button collection from my grandma and great grandma. I never thought of making something with them. I've always used them here and there in projects.
