Gnomes and Mushrooms Swap CLOSED Mail by Sept 15th

I was hoping for a sunny day to be able to photograph these, but that wasn't going to happen this week. 
I received the most amazing package.
I got:

Cool thrifted earrings that resemble toadstools and two shopping lists stamped with an adorable mushroom stamp.  They have magnets on the back and are up on my fridge already.


The very best mushroom headband ever!  It's made of microsuede so it's super soft. The mushroom tops are leather and the bottoms are machine embroidery.  So cute.  I've worn it twice since I received it.

The best for last:

The cutest little clutch!  Gnomes on the outside, a great handle loop, and a red and white polka dot inside.

I received my sweet package from jmk3482 today!

First, this cute card that she drew gnomes and mushrooms on!  I love little touches like that!


Then these adorable magnets!  They're puffy and 3-d like those stickers we used to have back in the 80s.  The kiddo already grabbed them and put them up on the fridge.


Next, these beautiful barrettes with mushrooms and a gnome and those awesome kanzashi (?) fabric flowers!  They are so perfect for my thick hair!


Now, even though I loved everything, this is my most favorite, a crazy quilted hotpad!  (Which is SOOO going up on my wall ASAP!  I just have to remember to rotate it often as I love both sides!)

I love how you made the images stand out!  It's GORGEOUS!!!  I love it!

YAY!! That got there fast! I was really nervous about you liking everything! Yes, I made the barrettes with polymer clay and then those are kanzashi flowers too! The pot holder was a new quilting technique I had never done before called paper-piecing. It makes for a really fun design and I think I want to do more of that kind of quilting. I'm really glad you liked everything!

K, here is the awesome-sauce package that Myrdda sent me!  It is frikkin' wicked, so be prepared:


Lookie! lookie!!!  See the mushroom pin cushion!?  I loves it!  It is so pretty that I almost don't want to stab it with pins!  Of course I use it while sewwing, but I also put it out on display in my living room just cause I like it so much!

And the magnets!  Gnome magnets!  *swoon*    I can never have enough magnets, especially strong magnets like these ones, perfect for keeping kid drawings ang school schedules on my fridge!

See that thing with the Gnome drawn on it?  Its a tote bag that folds up into its own pocket!  It is soooo awesome cause for liek, FOREVER now I've been meaning to make tote bags for my groceries and stuff and I was specifically thinking that a bag like this would be perfect cause it could fold up and go into my purse for impromptu trips to the grocery store, and here it is!  I have one and it is wicked!
