I wanted to make my own, with pretty fabric. Plus, the covers at Barnes and Noble cost a small fortune. I knew I could make one myself, it took a few tries to get it perfect, but I love how it turned out.

I really like the fabrics, very bright and cheerful! They're sort of modern colours mixed with a classic print, so I guess your book covers will always look stylish  Grin they've been put together very neatly too! Did you draft a pattern beforehand or did you just wing it?

That's beautiful!  Is that like a kindle?  I love your fabrics and the cover style, it's very nice!  Well done!

Well, I liked this so much, I decided to try and make something similar for my iPod touch.  I put less pockets on the side, and I forgot to put some padding in it for safety, but overall I'm happy with it.

I got my nook less than a month ago and its already dirty (i bring it everywhere and I'm constantly reading). I was about to shell out the ridiculous amount for a cover but this is so cute I'll have to make one!

good job! That is gorgeous (and the iPod version is great too)

I'm thinking about getting a Kindle, and I'm thinking I'll make a case all ready for it. I'll have to remember this for inspiration Wink

I was uncertain what a "Nook" was, but it would seem to be an electronic Reading Device (one of those ones that stores hundreds, if not thousands, of books) I've been thinking of getting one. I have the advantage of being a voracious reader.

It seems like it would be a good cover for an I-Pad as well. I've also been debating on getting one of those: Consumer Reports suggests waiting on buying an I-Pad, though. So, I'll wait.

My daughter has an I-Pod Touch, which I've also debated getting; but I'm going to wait on that one too. (Depending on which I decide upon first, I may not get the "other" one)

But, this cover would be terrific, whether for an I-Pod Touch, an I-Pad or a simple I-Pod.

Very Well Done!

love it!  I like the idea of the corner pieces holding it in.  That is great if you want to keep the reader in the case while reading, it won't move around.  Smiley  Fun colors, too!

I made a different kind of cover for my sony reader, but I like this idea, too!  Did you use stiff interfacing?

Nice fabric choice and very well made. I know what you mean about trying a few times to get it right...when I make something new, it takes 3 times to get it right!
