my son is visiting my sister in scotland next month and i'd love to make her a little fimo sculpture.  but it occurred to me  would he have any problems at the airport if i use a foil and wire armature??

ok - so no answer.  i'm considering making a shape out of clay and baking that  and adding clay onto that once its cooled...

has anyone travelled internationally with sculptures in their hand/luggage???

i've never travelled with a sculpture (it wont be a problem unless its hand luggage anyway?) though when i took my acrylic paints with me to Greece they squeezed out half the contents of each tube to make sure it wasnt plastic explosive Roll Eyes

In checked bagage it would be fine, just wrap it really well.
I would think it would be okay in carry on but it's hard to say for sure.
