A VeRy VeRy UnBiRtHdAy To yOu , To YoU
a vERY vErY UnBiRtHdAy tO YoU (wHo mE), YeS YoU !

A friend had her birthday a few months ago and wanted an Alice in Wonderland Theme - so she decided to throw a
' Mad Hatters Tea Party' .

She set up a long table with tea cups, cupcakes, teapots and flower and had the original Alice in Wonderland playing in the background on the TV

We all had to wear a hat to the Tea Party and I decided to make mine....I decided to stick with the theme of the Mad Hatters Tea Party

 So I made this :

The red base is a love heart shape ( to honor the Queen of Hearts )
The Big Chair at the end of the Table is the one Alice first sits in
when she joins the Mad Hatters Table

I attached a head band underneath so its worn easily enough

 Each Chair is different

I sculpted the Teapots, Cups and some of the chairs out of Sculpey.
The Table and other chairs are out of Balsa Wood.
The Big Chair is alfoil then paper mache over the top Tongue Its a bit rough...but ah well Smiley

I love the Alice in Wonderland movie - the original cartoon version
OFF with their HEADS !  Cheesy

Edit : I have added more photos of other hats we created further down

Your friends are as awesome as you are!  That hat is uber cool... the detail and LOL DOILIES!  I love the different chairs.  That black twiggy one and the red chair appealed most to me.  I think I sat in the Ochre chair in Kindergarten.

Too bad we can't see pictures of that awesome party.  I'm sure it was quite insane.

LOL - yes I had to add doilies Smiley

I took my camera on the day - but never ended up taking many photos. You know when you go to a party and you see others taking photos and you think ' Oh, they are taking photos, Ill just get copies off them later' ... then you never do... :S
Ill have a look on the computer when I get home and see if there are any of the other hats.
I made my hat  - and then Me and a mate ended up making a few more hats because three friends asked us to make theirs! Tongue
We did miniature Top hats for them all with stuff on the top hats.

 We did
  - a top hat with bunny ears poking out the top Tongue 'The White Rabbit'
-A Top hat with A teapot on it and a mouses head sticking out the top (the sleepy dormouse  from the movie)
-and a Top Hat with a pile of teacups on it
Then my mate had a Top hat with a Gold Stop Watch on it.

Smiley Bit of fun. Ill have to find any photos I took - Im sure I took a couple. Or hunt down those that did take photos Smiley
