So, two of my three children are in Day Camp this week and need to have lunches every day ... I hate lunch boxes and brown bags generate trash. So, what's a granola mom to do? Whip up washable insulated lunch bags and cloth baggies. I used these tutes ...

Those are fantastic! I should make one for my boyfriend. He carries his lunch to work on a grocery store plastic bag.

thank you for the nice words...  Smiley  Abigayl, you really should .. they are easy to make (I made both yesterday .. took a couple of hours) and they are a great size too .. I was able to fit a small blue ice pack in the bottom, then a sandwich, cherries, carrots, goldfish crackers and a fruit leather into each bag. I can't wait to see if you make one.  The only thing I changed up, was putting the velcro inside the opening, instead of on the outside of the bag. It seems to hold better where i have it.

Thank you Blue Rose .. the black fabric is Alexander Henry "Baddanna" and the other is a Joann Exclusive fabric- pattern #Ja 21202. I know they still have the skull fabric but I'm not sure about the black cats.
