I just finished a 6 week class where this was my finished product- a no pattern, winging it, peacock feather-inspired, no grout stained glass window.  Let me know what you think!

HOLY MOLY! This is really something! It's sooooo beautiful. It looks really well-made and certainly like something that would be very very expensive! I love it!

i'm surprised how amazing that looks without grout!
it must have to do with how neatly you did it.
what glue did you use?

Thanks Guys!  I'm not sure what kind of glue it was (had a red cap, does that help?)  The glue was supplied by the class, I probably shoulda payed more attention, because I might try this again!

This Rocks!!  You did a beautiful job!

So it's glue between the glass pieces and not grout? If you do find out what kind of glue it was, please share! I'd love to attempt to make something like this!

I'm still trying to figure out what brand of glue it was, but we decided that the glue was ultrastrong and shouldn't shift, so I just didn't worry about grouting it.  IF I ever decided to reinforce this piece, I would add resin to each pane...
Thanks for the words of encouragment!!!

Wow, this is stunning!  Just so I'm clear, all you did was glue the small glass tiles directly to a window pane? It's so beautiful I'd love to try it myself....it would look great in my dining room!!

That's all I did! Easy, and should be fine for inside. If it was outside, I'd try to grout it.

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

So if you didn't use grout how did you get the glass pieces to stay?

I would love that in front of my kitchen window Smiley
