Last month my sister had to have emergency surgery, so I flew down to visit her. I was visiting for quite a while taking care of her, but had nothing to do. So I printed this little number off and made it for her. She loves Snorlax. He was super easy, except for his claws. They just didn't work right. So I did his feet claws, but not his fingers. Oh well. She really loves it!

Because some people asked, I'm putting in the link to the Paperpokes site so that you guys can build your own model too! They have a lot of neat stuff on there as well.

Thank you! And he's super heavy too. I stuffed him with the left over cardstock!

Thanks! It actually took about 3 or 4 days of sitting and doing nothing but folding paper for like 4 hours. His name is Snorlax and he's a very famous pokemon. He sleeps all the time, but if you wake him up he gets extra cranky!

I downloaded him a while ago.  I also got about 4 others at the same time.

My daughter chose Pikachu (with the surfboard).

I have him about half done, but "life" has left me no time for anything fun.....

I am teaching a class in how to build these things tomorrow.  (See http://www.musecon.com/prog0.html)

I actually just finished this one. I will say to choose wisely what you want to do first. His thighs or his back. The parts didn't want to stick well for me, and he didn't close just right. I also forgot to stuff him with the scraps of paper to help him hold his shape which made it even more difficult! It says its easy, but its very small work.
