Just to be sure.....this is a medium swap right? Everyone seems to be doing waaay more, but I'm going to assume they discussed such with their partners.

Yes, this is a 1 medium swap lol but we discussed what we wanted to make each other and adjusted
totally adorable!

Is there a practical use for the apple cozy? or is it just cool?
our package sizes accordingly.

I think apple cozies are so you can like, toss it in your purse/bag without it getting bruised or making a mess. I -think- anyway. I'll have to make one and test out my theory one day lol

Your theory is correct about the apple cozy:) It's so your apple won't get bruised when you take it in your lunch and stuff. I'm happy you like your stash, hanshotfirst!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Ok, I knew this was going to be soooommmmee swap when I signed up for it, and I was right!  This gallery is EPIC!  And I am about to add to it!  Unfortunately, I can't take photos, so I will list a description of what I received and PM my partner after this to let her know so she can post photos.

Here goes:

-NOTE:  the note she wrote me was in an envelope that looked like it was embroidered.  The note itself was on what looked to be a picture of an embroidery sample of a sexy fairy!  (I am going to frame this and put it in my craft room when it's done.)  (I may even consider getting it as a tattoo...it's THAT cool!)

-GLASS:  I have a "list"-not a "wist"-of items that I like that I give to my partners.  On it, is glass.  I love anything made out of glass!  She gave me a class mug that has another, smaller mug in it, to make my....

-TEA:  Two bags of tea balls!  Yes, tea balls.  From Chinatown in NYC!  Fairy Lily Tea and Camellia Joy Tea.

-TEA WALLETS:  Yes, not one, but TWO tea wallets!

-PURSE:  On my list, I have turtles listed as a favorite of mine.  She bought me this cute little change purse in the shape of a turtle, with a really nifty beaded tail!  (And the tag on it has a nifty picture on it...must be from Chinatown too...I'm going to put it with my whimsy collection!)

-WATER BOTTLE HOLDER:  I've had this on my "list" for awhile now, and am THRILLED to get one, and right before school starts too!  I bring a huge bottle of water to work (I'm a teacher.) everyday, and it "sweats" all over my cabinet...this bag will keep the moisture contained, AND...she even made it so it attaches to the next, EPIC, goody (now I won't keep on dropping it on the way into work)...(Oh, and she even put a bottle of Poland Spring water in there too!)

-A HUGE BAG:  HOLY CANNOLI, MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I actually pulled this out of the box last, and MY GOODNESS!  This woman has skills!  Amazing skills!  Two different types of fabric, lime green ribbon decoration, buttons added...AND IT'S REVERSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I'm going to PM her now so she can post photos of this awesome package!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to mention that the bag and water bottle holder are made with varying types of fabric...ALL IN ORANGE!!!!!!!

(She even managed to combine my love of cherry blossoms and orange, and find an ORANGE CHERRY BLOSSOM PRINT FABRIC!!!!!)

Ok, ok...I'm done...pick up jaw off the floor.... Grin

Wink  Ummm...*shuffles foot around*...I am NOT done...I opened up one of the side pockets of the pocketbook to see how big it was and inside was one of those little erasers that are so popular now, in the shape of a frog, and a pair of turtle earrings!

NOW. I. AM. DONE.  promise. Cheesy
