I made three of these; two were sent off in the Calvin and Hobbes swap.

This is the one I kept:

And here's the two I sent off:

They were done on strips of canvas that I had applied Gesso to. I enlarged the panels and made them into stencils (easy enough Smiley ). They are technically two layers; I hand painted all the colors with a small brush (compared to the size of the canvas) so I just painted in the colors where they needed to go rather than do a layer for each individual color. (I think I did do a separate layer for the spaceship on the first one though). The third is actually screenprinted, but I had to paint over most of the design after the print since it was my second time screenprinting and not enough paint went through. They are pretty big; the first two are probably at least two feet wide, though I didn't measure them.

Great job, they look great.  I think hand painting in the colours is a great idea.

These are fantastic! They look just like the pages of a cartoon. Really nice technique. What are you going to do with the panel you kept?

Those are fantastic!  Love the amount of detail you managed to put in them.
