This summer I went on vacation with two of my younger cousins, and brought along my old friendship bracelet instruction books to keep them busy during the 10 hour car ride. I ended up making quite a few myself, so when I got home and remembered I had this beautiful (and soft!) fingering weight yarn, I couldn't resist making a few "grown up" friendship bracelets that I could wear all the time.



And here is a closeup of the buttons I used for toggles.

These are great!  I think I have found a use for some of those aggrevating toggle buttons I love the look of but hate to sew with.

I've been making friendship bracelets for the girls I work with.  They were all deprived as kids, almost none of them new how to make even a simple friendship bracelet, so everyone thought I was pretty rocking in a Saved by the Bell sort of way.  Very cool bracelets, by the way.
