So I've started crafting, finally.  I had to just sit down with a blank page and start drawing to get some good ideas.  I found the perfect fabric in my stash and got to it.  I'm so excited about crafting this in my very first swap.

Will sew for stamps!  Or swap stamps for fabric!  Send me a message for a personal swap!

I haven't started yet:( I was finally able to see my partners wist last night, and although there is something I could make, I'd have to buy the pattern and the time to make it would be worth 9 points, I'll have to see if a mini version that I could create myself would be ok:)

Anything remotely inspired by something on my wist would be great!

I'm going home tomorrow, so I hope to get started on a couple of things on Tuesday. Most of my crafting will have to wait until after the 20th, though... I'll be busy preparing for a friend's wedding before then!

I have so many ideas. Now I just have to find out what ones I actually have the supplies for. I started one of the items. I think the size is off, so I remade it smaller. Now I can't decide what one is better Huh I'll have to take another look at it tomorrow, after I get some sleep.

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

Just back from Belladrum (Music festival in the Scottish Highlands). 3/4 done the main part of my swap package. They were mainly made at Belladrum, so they're Belladrum babies.  Grin

I've got my list of ideas down but I haven't started crafting yet as I have some gift crafting to do that's due on the 19th. I'm so eager to start though!

After almost completing a hat for my partner (don't worry, she knew I was making it), I had to frog it b/c it came out HUGE!  I started it again, and it seems to be okay now.  We'll see.  Roll Eyes  On another note, my kids are having a playdate at our house today, so I'm going to bring out the materials for another crochet project, and work on that while the kids play, and the other mom and I talk.  I have a question?  Do you think that's rude?  My aunt always had a crochet project in her hands, and it used to drive my grandmother nuts!!!  (although my grandmother had a problem with my aunt in the first place,  Tongue I think!)

I wouldn't think it was rude as long as you weren't ignoring the other mother over doing the crotchet. I do things like craft whilst friends are around, they don't seem to think it's rude. Perhaps ask if they mind?
