Ava, is the fairy godmother to all flying yellow and black things (specializing in bees and wasps). She makes sure to keep them busy and fluttering about. I imagine she has rather juicy gossip sessions with queen bees while eating jam covered bread crumbs, and sipping on tea.

The wee wasp nest at the bottom is part of a huge one we found a few weeks ago. It had fallen out of a tree during a rather bad storm. Thankfully I think the buzzy things had left it long ago.

The nest is really cool. They chew up leaves and twigs and stuff and make their own paper to create their nests from! How neat is that?

I could tell this was one of your godmothers from the thumbnail! She's great. I really love the use of the nest. Beautiful!

Shhh... don't tell anyone, but I generally run screaming, flailing my arms around if a wasp follows me for more than 2.3 seconds.
