Okay, so . . . sewing is TOTALLY not my thing. I don't have the patience for it, so my stitches tend to be big and loopy and my seams are uneven and . . . yeah. It's just bad. I'll stick to crochet and leave sewing to people who are good at it. Tongue

Anyway, this purse came out pretty cute for my lack of sewing skills. It's made from an old Fender guitar t-shirt I bought several years ago, the skirt of a purple vintage dress I found at a thrift store, and a recycled zipper I found at another thrift store for 5 cents. The strap is some satin ribbon that used to be a tie on a skirt I have.

And the inside:

Yeah, you can see my seams on the inside . . . shhhh. Don't tell anyone. Tongue The purse is about 11"x10", and the strap is about 3 ft in length.

CC welcome, though I will probably not attempt to sew a purse again anytime soon. Tongue (And I promise to have 10 posts next time, so you don't have to click through the links . . . my apologies.)

Thank you! I rather like it. Smiley I might redo the strap though, I'm afraid it's not strong enough to hold the purse when it's full of stuff.

(Also, thank you to whoever made my images visible. Cheesy )
