This sounds like fun.  Let me make sure I have it straight though.  I may not be paired with the same person, I make a list of things I want to make and then get paired with someone who would want to receive one of those and then I get a second partner who makes something off my wants list???

I'm going to try my best to pair people up person-person.  I might need to do a few threesies - I haven't really started to look at the lists though.
I'm also open to participants picking their own partners as well Wink

Hi all!

Here are my lists.

Things I want to make:

1. Set of 7 face scrubbies, like these (in color of your choice): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=346162.0     Plus maybe one or two square wash cloths.

2. sandwich bag/wrap or snack bags that can handle wet foods (and are possibly re-made from something like shopping bags or some plastic) I like this one: http://blog.betzwhite.com/2009/03/reusable-sandwich-wrap-tutorial.html and/or bags: http://www.wists.com/puzzler/2fb140159c5154d0ef456d0d15cc68f9?offset=0

3. hand carved stamp (inspired by TV show or movie or something...)

4. set of small/thin journals (maybe 4x6) like these: http://www.wists.com/puzzler/1d30710e851c2074b1c27a951937ba77?offset=20

5. crocheted or knitted glasses case

6.Note cards and envelope set.

7. Mixed papers/ recycled papers journal.

(NOTE: some of these seem like small projects to me, so I don't mind doing more than one for someone)

Things I want to get:

1. cross stitched or embroidered (etc) logo of one or couple of my favorite shows (like the Office, House or some other ones)
2. one or two place mats
3. stickers with characters or quotes I like (I can provide those)
4. Handmade soap / bath salts, etc.
5. crochet hooks case/holder
6. fabric bucket
7. Lap quilt.

ALSO: Things from my top list

I know I should be worried about the timing of this swap, but I can't resist joining!

Things Im planning to make:
1. a sewing set probably to include a pin cushion and thread catcher like this: http://www.kquilts-studio.com/pincushionthread_catcher_tutori.htm maybe also some sort of organizer or other accessory like this: http://sewing.craftgossip.com/tutorial-pincushion-thread-catcher-and-sewing-organizer/2009/03/23/
2. a lunch kit to include a bag (not sure about the style, probably a mini-tote), placemat/utensil roll like this: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/dc/how-to-make-a-placemat-cutlery-roll-home-hacks-109019 , maybe some fabric napkins and/or reusable bags
3. a baby gift set (mine will be for my nephew-to-be) to include an embroidered/appliqud/stencil onesie, a couple of bibs, maybe another little toy
4. an apron, style to be determined
5. embroidery hoop wall art, garden-themed

Things Id love to receive:
1. sewing set from above list
2. lunch kit from above list
3. embroidered pillowcases (any shade from cream to brown, no white please!)
4. a WIP bag for my knitting, fairly large with some structure and pockets
5. wall art for my bedroom, maybe tree-themed? using chocolate brown and blue-greens.  I was thinking fabric/quilt type thing, but Id be open to anything  Smiley

Im flexible on the style of most things, but I know that not having a wist can make me tricky to craft for sometimes.  Dear partner, whoever you may be, please feel free to ask about colors and themes and such!

Two more days of sign ups!
If you haven't done so recently... check out the lists that others have put up - things that they would like to make.. if you think it is something that you would like to receive, add it to your want list Smiley  It will make pairing up easier!

If there is someone on the list that you believe would be your ideal match, pm that person and set up the deal - then both of you contact me and let me know Smiley  I will make it happen!

Two more days of sign ups!!
Come on out!  Make something for your partner & reward yourself and make something for you as well!
