Alrighty, turns out Joann's is havig a sale on the "bamboo ewe" this pattern recommends, $3.49 instead of $5.

Yeah I saw that last night but they don't have enough in stock of the color I want, so I might just make one with some stash yarn. I don't really like the color I have for this, but I don't get out to yarn stores very often and I want to start!!

Maybe it would look nicer in the back if it was looser? I tried a few rows with some caron pound of love I had since I saw someone using it on ravelry, but it wasn't soft enough for me to wear. Going to try some simply soft next.

Hey guys =) I'm actually working on this cardi with the exact yarn and color. so far so good! I've done the back, the fronts, and the sleeves, but I got confused with the pattern said "Shape Cap." any idea what that is, what that means, and where I'm supposed to join yarn? thanks  Smiley

lol nevermind. The cap is part of the sleeve...duh! So now I get to remove the sleeves from the vest part, un-seam them, and add the cap. Don't make this mistake at home  Wink

well....I'm done. I'll post pictures very soon. The good news is I've officially mastered the pattern if anyone needs help. I literally crocheted and then re-crocheted every piece of it for the perfect fit and yet I STILL had to change the sleeves because they ended up being way to long. Silly me  Roll Eyes

I see this post is a bit old. I'd like to join in! I was looking for a shawl pattern and then I saw the Filigree cardigan pattern. It was love at first sight! I've never seen a free crochet cardigan this lovely and awesome before.  A friend got me some Caron Simply soft eco-ways in chocolate brown as a Christmas gift. I can hardly wait to get started. (after finding the pattern I decided to check in here and see if anyone else had made it. I'm quite pleased to find a crochetalong for it)

Has anyone else finished theirs? If anyone in the middle how about posting a work in progress pic?
