These are sure popular! They are so easy though, so I can see why Smiley
I made these for my pumpkin due in November. His nursery is a woods theme and these fit right in with the wall decals I bought (http://www.roommatespeelandstick.com/walldecals/woodland-animals-wall-stickers.aspx)

Close ups:

I used foam letters I found at Hobby Lobby for 99 cents. I was going to use wood but they didn't have all the letters I needed, and the wood letters were about $2.50 per letter! These did take two coats of paint, and because they were white I had to darken the paint a bit more to get the end result I wanted. In real life the yellows aren't quite as bright as the picture portrays.

Thanks for lookin'!

Those are adorable!!  I just made some like that for my nephew and love what you can do with the letters... There are so many options and they all turn out so cute!!

Beautiful! I want to make some for my daughter now. I'm lucky she has a shorter name though. Just Lilly.

The letters look great!! How are you hanging them?
It was nice you were able to get them in the foam, for so much less. I didn't know you could pant on foarm, I thought it would make is desinagrate, may that was just with the spary paint I have dried with in the past.
I love the stickers you choose too, great theme for a little gusy room.

Thanks JulieOZ! These took paint pretty well, although there were some rough parts that needed a light sanding before I painted. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to hang them, I may just drill out a little hole in the back so they can hang on a push pin.

Your name letters are SO pretty! Did you handpaint the decorations on the letters? I've made them for both my granddaughters, using wooden letters. but I think I will look for the foam ones from now on.  I've got 3 more grandbabies on the way so I've got to get started!  Smiley

If I'd known having grandchildren was so much fun, I would've had them first!

Thanks Earthie! Yes, I hand painted them. The main trouble I found with the foam as I tried to hang them is that when I dug out holes in the back for the pushpins they would never sit straight on the wall. I ended up gluing the letters side-by-side and then hanging the whole thing from one ribbon. I was going to put ribbon on each letter at first, but I thought it would be too hard to get them all even. Congrats on all your grandbabies!
