I had to do something related to school for a school teacher, celebrating back to school.... I am a school teacher myself, so inspiration came easily hahaha.

Anyway, she is a tea drinker ( I am more a coffee addict), so i thought I could make a wallet with pockets to put her favorite tea inside... Then I had the idea of tiny little happiness.... and I thought that she is a girl so she would need chocolate... and pens.... and here is what I made for her: a teacher's back to school survival kit, to handle stress, find some confort.... and have fun!!

She also does cross stictch, so I thought that she could reuse the kit as a sewing kit, there is a place for thread, needles, charts and cisors.... I hope she will like it!!

here are some more pics with details:

the outside : just like my tiny little happiness covers, but a bit bigger!

inside, empty:

on the left:
tiny happy things note book pocket and tea bags pockets

on the right:
chocolate pocket and pens place.

c&c welcome!!

i can't make an article on my blog, as I didn't send it to her yet, and won't be able to do so before  aug15th... But I couldn't wait to share!!

I made a tutorial. I hope you will understand it!! It's hard to order into steps something you just made out of inspiration!! I forgot to take some pictures, but I think you will be able to understand it. Don't forget to read my terms of use!! Send me pictures if you made one, with a link to your site or blog if you want,  I will be more than happy to put it on my blog, after my swap partner receive her kit!!
I can't wait to see what you make of it!!

Edit: she looooooooved it!!!! And now people ask me to make one for them.... But back to school means a lot of work for me... so ... I put the tutorial on my blog, in french and in english. Just look on the right!!

That's a great idea! I'm sure she will love it.

I should definitely try something like this for my sister...

I love the idea of survival kits in general, but that fabric really makes it all come together. Good idea to incorporate all the items together (notebook, tea wallet). Great job!

Those pens were found in a french supermarket.... they are  Paper Mate by reynolds, in fun colors. I love using them to write appreciations on kids notebooks. Or to draw on my sketch book.... or to write anything about anything. I just love them!

Thank you all for your nice comments!

I think anyone would love this little survivor kit, even if they don't teach! It's so cute. I just featured this project on Craftster's Facebook page. Thanks for sharing.  Smiley

OOoooh thank you all for those nice comments! There is no tutorial or cuting measurement... yet ! I just made it as it came, adding features on the go. But I wanted to make myself something like this so I guess that I will take pics and write a tutorial for it. I will start tonight!!
