what a great idea, I never thought about using ice cube molds for the butter.
I will have to look at that.

i love homemade butter, we do it with my cousin's kids quite a lot, with them we put cream in a jar, put the lid on nice and tight and shake it, just keep shaking, after about 10-20mins you have butter

Thanks for this tutorial. I made some butter using it and it was very good. Only I think it was too much trouble to get simple butter so I don't think I will do it again unless I want flavoured butter... and I have no idea what kind of flavour would be good in butter !

Thank you so much for this!

My dad and I made this a few weeks back with some organic cream from WholePaycheckFoods.  (We wanted to test it before we bought some from the local farmers market.)

So awesome!  It tasted lovely milky fresh and sweet!  My dad now wants to get a butter stamp so he can make fancy shapes when we/he have guests coming over.   Tongue

Very nice! Next time I visit my sis, or she visits me, I have to make some for her. She *loves* butter nowadays. Which is hilarious to me, since she's the health conscious one of us.
