When I worked in a bakery and made whipped cream I would forget about the mixer while I did other tasks. I accidentally made butter too many times!

heheheh. my hubby does that but with the hand cream maker, so he's not allowed to make whipped cream any more.

Gah. I don't have a mixer, and all I have is a cheap mixing wand. I will one day get a mixer though.

This looks fantastic! And so easy! I was only saying the other day that I would love to make butter - and now I can!

I haven't made my own butter in years, we used to do this in child development and let the kids make their own butter by pouring cream into empty baby food jars and the kids would shake and shake and shake until it turned into butter.  My mom still has a butter churn (she uses it as a toilet paper roll holder) but I bet if you could get a hold of some cheap cream you could make a bunch.

I had NO idea you could freeze butter, maybe now I won't be so scared to make it!

Great job, thanks for sharing!

ITS THAT EASY? SERIOUSLY? Thats just not fair! I will never run out of butter again.
