awww thank you guys so much for the kind words and encouragements!  This is my first time making these houses and was so worried that I didn't get it "right"  (I know that is silly but can't help myself)  It has been so fun digging into stashes of supplies I had long ago forgotten.  I have held onto that chocolate ribbon forever just because I loved the feel of it...have another one somewhere I need to find Smiley

I am really loving this gallery, everyone's styles are so unique to them and awe inspiring.  Each and every house thats been posted has something I love in it and/or supplies I wish I could stumble upon.

yeah, I think I am hooked on these.   Wink

here is the cute little chunky house I received from loves2experiment, our lovely organizer!

(sorry about the reflection, this was the best I could get, the bird is actually aluminum)

and back

and I love the quote, "when you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on!"
sometimes, though, I just let go! Smiley

and in its new growing neighborhood...

the back

and a close up of the texture on the front of the house

it feels like vinyl- but looks like a glaze or sealer, I would love to know what you used Krista

I love your use of the daisy buttons and how you incorporated a face into the sun

The whole thing is embossed with clear embossing powder, I really like the way it adds to the dimension of things I make, glad you like it Smiley

and all of the houses I sent, as you will see, have "my house" on them inspired by my 2 yr old who kept stealing them off my table, running away and yelling, "MY HOUSE!!"  Grin
