Oooh.  More lovely houses!!  Keep 'em coming!! Grin

REMINDER:
Please remember to send a message to your organizer (moi Roll Eyes) and your partners when you receive a chunky house!  I usually update my record of sent/received chunky houses (ref. first post in this thread) whenever I get sent/received messages from ya'll.  This will help everyone keep track of things, and it'll allow me to issue prompt feedback as needed.  Thanks! Kiss

I received my first house!  It's super cute!  Great job Kartiana.  I really like the way you put the swap info on the tag in the pocket on the back!  Smiley

I received my first chunky house from TheSavoyTruffle  Cheesy I love it!!!

Front:

I don't know where the glare came from, but this was my best shot... it says "house party"

Back:

I love the papers (and fabrics!) she used and the composition, the squares on the front are raised a bit and give it a great 3D element  Smiley

Thank you TheSavoyTruffle  Kiss

sajona love the gnome house great use of the lyrics- and the owl/dragonfly house is awesome are those rubber stamps? But I think the tea  house is my favorite ( my family has called me tea since I was a baby)- simple but effective

NH822 wow I love the diverse materials and techniques you used in your houses- the fronts have such a different feel from the back - The "chicken" house is wonderful and the back is just fabulous I love the "steampunk/industrial" feel of it
the flower house has such wonderful colors- I love the way you place the flower on the front and the use of the ribbons-and the back is so sophisticated

Kartiana another wonderful house

TheSavoyTruffle great use of decorative papers what a wonderful use for those scraps we all throw out

well done ladies- there are some really lucky "homeowners" out there

thanks teag - the paper with the owl and dragonfly were sent to me in a paper swap a while ago, but they are rubber stamped on old dictionary pages - and I've been looking for a way to use them for ages! The tea pictures are from a wonderful book by Stuart Walton, something like the 'decoupage source book' - I collect books and images of vintage things, and those are particularly precious Smiley I used a crackle effect on all my houses, which involves about 6 layers of varnish and a layer of gum arabic, plus brown oil paint rubbed in to finish - took ages to dry!
