Well, I'm still plugging away at my flower blanket.  I've got the ends woven in on 106 of the flower motifs, and I've got a large, overflowing bowl full of finished flowers that need the ends woven in, that I haven't counted yet.

I'm on the last colour group, though, so the end is near!

I don't have any new pictures of it, though, so you all are going to have to post more pictures of your stuff to compensate!

So, what are YOU working on?

I've been making lots of plarn for my Mats for Haiti project. And when my sister saw wibit's Cluck Clutch, she demanded I make it for her. I think I'm using the wrong kind of yarn though, so I may be starting over.

i'm working on a hat.  it's based on a hat i saw in a movie and liked, but pattern wise i'm making it up as i go along.  it's been going pretty well, but now that i'm at the brim, i think i might have to rip out a few rows and do them over, since it's not exactly how i pictured it.  but now that i've put it down for a day i think i'll go back and see, it might not be as bad as i thought at the time.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a pair of fingerless driving gloves - one glove is about 3/4 done. The only pattern I found was on the Lion Brand website and I hated how it fit on my hand, so I'm trying to make my own pair. Figuring out the increases is a little difficult, though.

RosyPosy , what kind of yarn are you using for the Cluck Clutch?  I'm thinking of making one, but I had a hunch the regular cheap white worsted I have lying around wouldn't work very well.  So I want to know what else not to try, LOL.

I'm working on several different crocheted tentacled-things right now (some are going to be octopuses, some are going to be cats or maybe owls with tentacles).  I'm doing one in plarn, which I'd never worked with before---I'm surprised by how much the finished crocheted product ends up feeling like raffia or something rather than plastic.

@slothmuffin- I'm using good ol' Super Saver, actually. I thought it wouldn't come out right, but the body is fine. I'm just having some problems with the comb and beak because I can't find any thinner yarn.

RosyPosy, thank you for unknowingly beta-testing this for me!  Wink  Yours looks awesome, and I'm all excited to start mine with my own skein of Super Saver.  (I'm going to run into problems with the beak and comb, too, though.  I don't think I have any lighter weight bright red yarn.)
