Yes, and I don't think I mentioned it in this thread yet but I recieved an amazing package from Wulf shortly before I went on vacation. I wanted to take some nice costume shots so I'll post when I get home. Smiley

Thanks again Wulf! Smiley

I received from my partner! She did a really great job. I only have one picture though because both the doll and caravan are now in one of my daughters hiding spots.Smiley She loves them she makes them both talk baby gibberish to each other. lol. Anyways the photo of my great swap goodies.

The painting is now hanging in my living room Smiley

Okay, that's my favourite Gypsy package so far, weird though that is. I love the doll, and the odd little felt caravan makes me a bit weak. That your daughter has them talk to each other just makes it perfect!

Turtleslovecabbage, I'm glad your daughter likes those plushies so much x) That sounds so adorable haha =)

Wulf, I'm glad you like it ^_^ I was trying to get everything done before I left for Hawaii and basically skipped sleep for two days to finish sewing, painting, and also finishing up a different plushie for my boyfriend. I randomly passed out sitting up with the doll and my sewing stuff in my hands and I opened my eyes a few hours later and I was like o_o What the hell just happened?! O_O;;;

x) Also, Turtles, I think my friend is jealous of the bag you made me haha. I had it with me yesterday and she was like "Omg!! Is this the bag from the gypsy swap?!" I was like "Yup <3" and she was like "o_o *examines and touches* Cheesy<3<3<3" haha x) It was fun.

Okay I'm finally posting the great stuff I got from Saturn on Monday. I tried to get another, better action shot of me wearing it, but it looks like this is as good as it gets.

This great vest is appliqued with glittery fabric and trimmed with metallic gold sari fabric. The traditional shisha mirrors are hand-sewn on. Saturn was a bit worried about her shisha sewing, but those babies aren't ever coming off! You totally can't see in the photo but the sash (extra long - thank you!!) has lovely heavy fringe at the end.

Saturn also sent this great necklace made from a Pakistani coin and some very authentic silver findings and tiny brass bells. Now, I don't wear necklaces very much anymore, not because I don't like them, but because my beard makes it rather pointless. I'm wearing it in the photo above -- can you tell? You see my point. But I like it too much to not wear it.

I immediately recognized where I could wear it to much better effect: as a hat-band. My old felt hat has needed dressing up for a long time, and I think this may be exactly what's required:

Thanks so much, Saturn. I love all this, and can hardly wait to manufacture an occasion to wear the vest and sash.

Wulf

Here are my pics from the super awesome package that Wulf sent me! I still want an action pic of the skirt but the weather is super gloomy and rainy, and my house is all dim and stuff...so here's these for now. Smiley Sorry the pics and the feedback was kinda late, I ended up on a quick vacation out of town.

Wulf, you totally spoiled me! Thank you so much!

A cute little overskirt with some pretty embroidery, one of my skirts is the exact same shade of pink in the flowers.

An awesome bag with brass horses and coin trim. It has inner pockets for all my zills, henna supplies, and bindis! This is definitely going to faire with me this year!

Earrings in the exact colors of my troop costume, they're perfect! Good find!

More spoilage! Classic tapes of belly dance music!

I'm a tea fiend, and this is some of the best tea I've ever had. Thank you so much Wulf!!! I even brought some in a baggie on vacation with me so I could enjoy it on my trip!

Some classic reading on Gypsy Sorcery! If you've ever been in a WWP swap with me, you know I'm really into this stuff!!!

A cute little bell that is getting sewn to one of my belts! It's adorable, brass, and loud for such a lil' thing! Smiley

THANK YOU SO MUCH WULF!!! Everything is fantastic, and I feel totally spoiled!  Grin Grin Grin I even love the appropriate note tags that you pinned onto everything, you went into such great detail! Smiley
