It has a Velcro closure, and a ribbon handle. It would fit a card or two in it with small change and some paper money.  It is lined so the stitching for the beading won't show or get hooked on anything.
I made it for the 44 Cent swap.

And it is even more awesome in real life than in photos.  You simply don't expect something like that in a 44 cent envelope swap.  Sorry, but when I saw "my" ( my daughter's now actually) change purse here, I just had to comment.

I think it is fun when my DD steels things I receive I think it is a cool compliment to the artist. Although my favorite time she did her "ooh can I have It" was funny because I did the whole swap for her. LOL
So I take it as a high compliment that is was stolen by your DD.
