In 4 weeks I am due to have a baby boy!!  These are some of the first clothes I've made for him!  They are so tiny, maybe newborn to 0-3 months.  I can't wait to put them on him!

first, we have a pirate jammie top made of waffle knit,  and a jersey skull t-shirt...

then, we have a green and a brown t with orange neck binding!

ps- they aren't wonky, they just look like it... I'm not a great photographer...
Thanks for looking!

C&C appreciated!

super cute! I love the necklines. Where did you learn to do that style? They came out great!

Adorable!  Before my son was born last year I made some really funky bibs, but it never occurred to me to try t-shirts.  I love original baby things - well done!

Thanks ladies!
Eliea-  I took apart a Gerber 0-3 month onesie to make the pattern, just added some seam allowance!  Then, I cut strips from some other knit to make the necklines, serged the sides, folded it over, and sewed in on for binding, then assembled the shirt!  Easy Peasy!!
You should all give it a try!  Very gratifying, and doesn't take forever!  Plus, I got a McCalls pattern for a baby T/onesie and such, and it was SO HUGE!!  The newborn size was like almost 12 months!  Not very helpful when making something for a probably 6 or 7 lb babe!

ah that's clever! I'll have to try that. I can pick up baby clothing to take apart at the thrift store. Smiley

Gorgeous little clothes - boys' things seem so much harder to make than girls', but yours are lovely. Lucky baby!

Tiny shirts! Soo cute! The design looks great with all of your fabric choices, too.

I started making stuff for my little guy last year, and I had the hardest time with patterns being sized way too big. I finally ran across Ottobre Design Magazine (http://www.ottobredesign.com/) - and they have lots of cute, well fitted little boy (and girl) styles. I think the sizing starts around 4 months.
