I love these crayons!  So cute and I would do this with older students, I'm a teacher, but maybe turn it into an art lesson about mixing colors.  How did you melt them?  They are awesome!  Great idea!

As a mom of three and an aspiring college student hoping to become an elementary teacher, I think these are freaking awesome.  My kids, especially my 7 year old, would love these.

Tip:
If you put your crayons in warm water first he paper comes right off.

I'll have to remember this. We have a basket of a crayons at work (I'm a waitress) and of course some break, smash, and generally look ugly. I wonder if I could make little coffee cups?...........(brain wanders into oblivion).

AMAZING! I am an art teacher and try to teach the students that everyday is earth day, esp. in the art room and that we can always reuse things, these crayons would make a perfect year round reminder!!! love it!
