OK, I am a new organizer and I do not know what to do in a situation that I am in. Any help would be appreciated!

I am currently organizing the 13 Days of Halloween swap which involves a three month crafting time with send outs in early October. Sign ups closed over three weeks ago. My requirements for signing up included successfully being involved in at least one previous swap, to not have any negative feedback, and to not have a large history of lack of communication. This was important since the swap was large and time intensive.

I was recently alerted that one of the crafters had received negative feedback in another swap they were in due to lack of sending (they were over two weeks late on it). I contacted this person and they replied three days later stating that they were sending out their late package the next day and would soon have their negative feedback reversed. However, after waiting a week from this contact, I contacted the organizer to that swap and found out that they have still not sent out and have not communicated at all.

What do I do from here? Her partner is concerned about spending all the time this swap entails just to be left out in the end (which in an understandable concern). Ideally, I would like to remove this person in question and find a replacement partner, however I do not know if this is possible at this time (since send outs have not happened).

Can someone please help me?  Smiley

Have you tried asking the swap mods for help? It might be a good idea to open a help desk ticket about this.

Im not that experienced of a swap organizer, but to me it sounds like the person in question has been given multiple chances to demonstrate that they will communicate and participate and hasn't taken them. I don't see anything wrong with finding a replacement partner. I would recommend bringing this to the attention of the swap mods, though, to get their input.

Trace, open a help desk ticket. (Click on the Help button at the very top of your screen.) The swap mods can help you sort this out. Smiley

I would say they are no loner allowed to be in the swap and find someone else.
