My fiancée has gotten at least one package in the mail EVERY DAY THIS WEEK.  I keep thinking, "THIS one will be for me?" My head is set to explode from anticipation!

I can't tell everyone how impressed I am with everyone's crafting talents. This is an amazing swap and I for one am proud to be involved.

A few orders of business:
(1) I've started leaving feedback. As soon as I've seen pictures posted from both partners, I'll be able to leave feedback.
(2) We seem to have an unintentional flaker. I understand that life gets in the way sometimes, but we need to press on. Don't worry Willowe, we'll find an angel for you. If anyone here is interested, I'll be making a posting at the angel board.
(3) I was delighted to find a gift from sillysmushyhippocake in my mailbox yesterday! Thank you for the wonderful thank you gifts! I love them! It's a Hobbes picture holder and an adorable Hobbes box, painted like our favorite stuffed tiger himself and with a valentine heart from Susie Derkins inside! Thank you so much!

And since it appears I have been unintentionally flaked-upon, I wanted to post a picture of one of the things I sent. I apologize for the poor quality, it was taken on my mom's cell phone. As for the funny look on my face... I have no excuse for that.



It's a Hobbes amigurumi. It was probably just shy of two feet tall, sitting. I started working on it in June, back before we even had partners, and finished it end of July. Easily the biggest item I've sent in a swap, ever.

I also sent a recon'd composition notebook with a picture of Calvin and Hobbes on the front and two bookmarks, none of which I have pictures of, unfortunately.

Wow, this gallery was amazing. I LOVE Calvin and Hobbes. I have the big, complete series box set. It's just so awesome. But what you guys made is so stunning! I'm so blown away by the creativity in this thread. Super impressed, really.

willowe- I'm so sorry to hear about the bad news!  So not cool I have to say though, that Hobbes looks radical.  Its huge!  I bow to your crafting skills
