I wish to take up knitting, and I found this scarf to be an inspiration to get started.  However, after an hour of searching online I cannot find this type of yarn anywhere.  Any suggestions would be so much appreciated.   Smiley

Sorry, that is the largest pic I'm afraid.  I just think those little balls are so adorable, but no website devoted to yarn that I've searched has them featured.  I've found loops, lashes, chenille, but no balls!   Tongue Smiley

I looked up slub yarns on Yardex and came up with a few that are similar in some respects, although nothing exactly the same. If it is a commercially made scarf you may not find the exact same yarn. You might want to decide what you like most about it - the colour, colur variation, fibre content, the size or frequency of the slubs - to help you figure out where you are willing to compromise.

I'll be looking through the site and deciding on the one that will suit me.  Thank you for taking the time to help me out.

Hi!  Berroco made a yarn that had those little pom-poms on it.  It's called Bubble FX but it's discontinued.  If you go to their site www.berroco.com and search the discontinued yarns you can see it.  It looks just like the one in the scarf.  I knitted a scarf with it and 2 other yarns held together because it's really thin between the pom-poms.  It had the same effect as the one in your picture.

Darn, discontinued.  But that's okay, because at least now I know what the yarn appears like in a skein, so I'll know better what to shop for.  I really appreciate your help.
