Multi-Themed Steampunk Swap Gallery (Send outs 8/16)

Hey Pretty Mamas, get your greedy little wisting fingers ready because I got spoiled by MonkeyStuffer!

First, there are two "Dirty and Distressed" style shirts (straight off my Wists!) and straight out of a Mad Max, post-apocalyptic setting.

In pink. I love the stencil on the back!

And green. They were both distressed and dyed to look pretty darn rustic.

Here's a closeup of the symbols on them! Aren't they great?

Next came some sweetass accessories:

An awesome gear necklace (the other side is the front of a clock! AUGH so cool!

A gypsy/pirate-y/adventure-y bracelet with bits and bobs found around while adventuring. (Also straight off my wists.)

An ankle or bracelet (this is the only one I wasn't really sure of, so that's why I'm not wearing it). I couldn't figure out how to put it on. But it's really awesome and tinkly and I am going to wear the heck out of it when I belly dance.

And lastly: The Piece de Resistance!

A leather Waist Cincher! Oh my goodness! It really pulls my ensemble together, I think.

Ooh, I love the way the yarn is worked through the chain on your adventure-y bracelet. What a great design element.

Yay! I'm glad you like everything, GoldfishGirl, and that it all seems to fit remarkably well.  

Sorry about the mystifying ankle bracelet - the "clasp" thing is pretty odd, I'm not sure how old it is.  If you look at the back of the clasp you can see how it works - the thing is, only one side actually unhooks even though they both look like they should, and you have to turn it at the right angle..  It has to be pretty loose in order to hook when it's on, so you may have to wear it on your wrist or something instead of your ankle, I never thought to ask your ankle size.  Sorry it's kind of odd!  I was just excited that it was so jingly for your bellydancing.

Your outfits are really cute, btw!  I especially dig that skirt with the pockets.

I think we'll have to do one in the future... my next swap I'm organizing is a key themed one (a small one) and then maybe much later (like January) we should do another one! From now til Christmas is going to be super busy for me I think!


Awesome packages everyone, I can't wait to see the angel package... but then we're done which makes me sad...
